The waters at her very feet began to ripple and swirl, there was a silence that passed between the two demons. Bright eyes full of envy began to glow with a flicker, much like fire flies, and her coral palms curled into a tight fist of sorts. His words were familiar yet all too foreign, bits of her memory returned and the more that came charging back the more her face began to glow with embarrassment.
Just who was this man? And why did she look upon him with.. fluster?
“I’m—a princess. Yes, that must be right, I’m a Princess and.. my name is Nevy Nervine. But I think that’s… all I have right now.”
Feeling her face and nose, Nevy couldn’t straighten out her emotions just yet. What was this? Hatred? Envy? Surprise? Happiness? Regret? So many and none were too clear, but they all centered around this individual, whose poetic words struck chords in the back of her thoughts. A whirlpool of darkness that allowed no light to escape.
“But… you’re a King? So maybe… maybe you know me? If you’re a king? And you lost someone dear to you, this I remember too, someone you.. cared for.”
